A Look at Meet & Greet Week
Last week, the three final candidates for the 12th Bishop of Utah, The Rev. Cn. Dr. Rob Droste, The Rev. Phyllis Spiegel, and The Rev. Cn. Dr. Janet Waggoner, traveled around our state to meet the people of the Diocese.
On Monday, they visited the ECCU to meet the clergy and then the staff. On Tuesday, they hopped on a bus down to St. George to meet and greet the people of Grace Episcopal Church. Wednesday was another travel day to Whiterocks to meet with the people of St. Elizabeth's. Thursday they traveled to the Church of the Good Shepherd in Ogden. They finished the week off at St. Jame's in Midvale.
A big thank you to our candidates for such a wonderful week! And, of course, a huge thank you to the volunteers that lended a hand to make this week great!
Adventures on the Bus!
The Transition Committee made sure the candidates, along with their companions and Shepherds, traveled in both style and comfort! Along for the ride was Standing Committee President The Rev. Lyn Zill Briggs, Kristin Madden and Josie Stone of the Transition Committee, and Craig Wirth and Brianna Lanclos of the Communications Team.
Special thanks to Nancy Tanner and Russ Pack, co-chairs of the Transition Committee, for the dedicated planning that went into this week. Very special thanks to Kristin and Josie for being gracious bus hosts and ensuring everyone had fun along the way!
